Lane Shift

How to play

1. Select “Let’s shift” to begin.
2. Rows of red blocks fall towards your player at the bottom of the road.
3. Tap the left or right side of the road, use the Left and Right buttons, or press ← → (or A and D) to change lane.
4. Every row leaves at least one lane open. Hitting a block ends the run.

Scoring

Each row you pass earns 1 point and each yellow gem you collect earns 3 points.

The road speeds up as your score rises. Reach 40 for quick reflexes and 100 for lane mastery. Your personal best is saved in this browser when storage is available.

Tips for a better run

• Look at the next row, not the block right in front of you.
• Move early. Two quick taps cross the whole road.
• Only chase a gem when the next row’s gap is on the same side.
• The middle lane gives you the shortest move to either side.

Frequently asked questions

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. Tap the left or right half of the road, or use the buttons under the game.

Is there always a way through?

Yes. Every row leaves at least one lane open, and rows are spaced so you can reach it.

Can I pause?

On a keyboard, press Escape. The game also pauses when you leave the browser tab.
